Account & Data Deletion
Applies to Nadi and Nestora, on both web and mobileYou can request deletion of your account and the personal data associated with it at any time, whether or not you still have the app installed. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and what we may need to retain. Nadi iOS users should also read the Nadi Privacy Policy and Nadi Terms of Use.
Option 1 — request deletion from within the app
Open Nadi or Nestora and go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Confirm the request, and we'll begin processing it. If your account was created for you by an organization (a transport operator, school district, property manager, or HOA) and you don't see this option, use Option 2 below or ask your organization's administrator to submit the request on your behalf.
Option 2 — request deletion by email
You don't need the app installed to request deletion. Email us and we'll process your request without requiring you to sign back in:
Subject line: Account deletion request
Please include: the app (Nadi or Nestora), the email or phone number associated with your account, and your organization or community name, so we can locate and verify your account.
We'll confirm receipt of your request and complete verified deletions within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile — name, email, phone number, and login credentials
- Your personal activity history, such as your individual clock-in/out records (Nadi) or your individual requests and guest submissions (Nestora)
- Device tokens and notification preferences tied to your account
What we may retain
Some records can't be deleted immediately because we're required to keep them, or because deleting them would affect records belonging to your organization or other residents:
- Payroll and tax records derived from your clocked hours, which employers and payroll processors are generally required to retain for several years under labor and tax law
- Safety-related inspection and maintenance records tied to a vehicle, which may need to remain intact for fleet safety and compliance history even after a driver's personal account is removed
- Billing and financial records tied to a unit or community, which a property manager or HOA may be required to retain for accounting purposes
- Information already shared with, or independently held by, your organization under its own retention obligations
- Anything we're legally required to preserve, such as records relevant to an active legal or regulatory matter
Where we retain a record for one of these reasons, we remove or de-identify the personal details that aren't needed for that legal or safety purpose wherever possible.
Deleting your organization's account
If you're an administrator looking to close your organization's entire Nadi or Nestora account — not just one user — contact us at support@papercuttech.com and we'll walk you through offboarding, including data export options before deletion.
