This Privacy Policy applies to Nestora and related onboarding, demo, and support services provided by papercut technology (“papercut,” “we,” “us”). Nestora is not self-serve software; we set it up with your community. This policy does not cover Nadi unless we say so.

2. Whose data we process

Nestora is used by residential communities, buildings, and property teams. We process information about:

• Community admins, owners, and organization staff
• Residents and unit occupants
• Security guards and other on-site roles
• Vendors, guests, and visitors recorded in requests or the gate register

The community or building operator is typically the controller of resident and visitor data. papercut processes that data to provide Nestora on their instructions.

3. Information we collect

Account and profile

Name, contact details, role, unit or community association, and login credentials.

Community operations

• Units, occupancy, and related property records
• Bills, collections, receipts, balances, and payment-related notes
• Maintenance, complaint, guest, and vendor visit requests and their status
• Vendor directory entries
• Expected guests, check-in/out times, and gate-register notes
• Notices posted to residents

Technical data

Device type, browser, IP address, logs, and similar information needed to run and secure Nestora.

If you book a demo or email support, we keep the details you send so we can respond.

4. How we use information

• Provide Nestora: billing, requests, vendors, security dashboards, and notices
• Onboard your community and support your team
• Authenticate users and keep the service secure
• Host, back up, and improve the product
• Comply with law and enforce our terms

We do not sell personal information. We do not use Nestora community data to advertise to residents or visitors.

5. Who we share with

• The customer organization — each role sees only what Nestora is configured to show (admin, guard, owner, resident, and similar)
• Service providers — hosting, email, and similar vendors who process data only for us
• Legal and safety — if required by law, or to protect people, our customers, or papercut

Guests and vendors appear in Nestora because a resident or admin submitted them. We do not independently market to those people.

6. Retention

We keep information for as long as the community workspace needs it, plus a limited period for backups, disputes, and legal requirements. When a customer ends service, we delete or return workspace data according to the agreement, except where we must keep a copy by law.

7. Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections, and role-based views. Nestora still depends on customers assigning the right roles and protecting logins. No system is perfectly secure.

8. Your choices and rights

If you are a resident, owner, or guard, contact your community admin first to correct, export, or delete information. You may also email support@papercuttech.com. We will route the request to the customer when we must.

Depending on where you live (including New Jersey and other U.S. states with privacy laws), you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain processing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights.

9. International access

Nestora is provided from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, your information is processed in the U.S.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change, and we will post the new version on this page. Material changes may also be emailed to the customer’s admin contact.
